Here are a few details on how we run things here at Merry Pin Pines.
Early setup – every scheduled event includes a free extra half hour of time before the event’s start time. If you are planning an elaborate setup, such as for a wedding, we can make special arrangements, but may need to add the hours to the overall event cost.
Deposit – a 25% deposit will be needed at booking to reserve a space.
Certificates of Insurance – event liability insurance will be required for all events. These inexpensive liability insurance policies can be easily obtained, often through your homeowners policy. If you intend to include alcohol, that must be included when obtaining a policy. Certificates will need to be provided to us a week in advance of your event.
Alcohol – responsible alcohol consumption is allowed at events. You are responsible and liable for enforcing all Pennsylvania laws related to alcohol consumption. No glass containers, cans and plastic bottles only.
Pets – furry friends are allowed, but must be well behaved and you must clean up behind them. You are liable for your pet’s behavior.
Cleanup – we expect our customers to thoroughly cleanup after their event.
Smoking – There is no smoking in the Chapel, Community Room or bathrooms. Cigarette butts MUST be discarded in appropriate containers.
